ALTITUDE: a fun, high-energy, ministry for children grades 1-4, that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and to grow in a relationship with Him. All parts of ALTITUDE - Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application, missions, and recreation, - connect to teach life lessons to kids.
ALTITUDE meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Each week kids have a great time being loud and crazy while learning a variety of Bible stories and Christian characteristics they should exhibit. All kids check-in in room 105. Parents can pick up their children in the Fellowship Hall.
The evening includes a Warm-up when they get to know each other better. Then they go through a Workout when they sing and recite Bible verses as well as hear a Bible story presented in a fun, innovative manner. After the Workout, it's time for Reach Out, a time of missions study when the ALTITIDE members are exposed to missions opportuinities that exist around the world. During the Stretching time the kids work specifically on verse memorization. Then, the time they all look forward to: The Tournament. This time of loud and crazy games is sure to bring out a lot of smiles and really cement the Bible lesson. ALTITUDE time ends with a Cool Down when the kids bring it all together as they calm down and have a snack.
