Welcome Home-Make Sunday the best day of your week! We invite you to join us for an incredible time in God's house on Sundays at 10:30am for Worship. Small Groups meet at 9a on Sundays and Wednesdays at 6:30pm. I know the idea of going to a new church can be intimidating, so let me answer some of the questions you might be having.
Is the service going to be boring? I'll make a little confession here. I've been tempted to nod off while attending church services myself, so we go out of our way to make the services interesting. Our praise band, led by our Worship Leader, Brandon Baldwin, does a great job of providing uplifting music that helps us to worship. We show all of our worship songs on our projection system so it's easy to follow along.
What if I don't know anything about the Bible? We have many people at Greenwood who are in various stages of their spiritual journey, and a number of them know very little about the Bible. Our passion is to communicate in ways that make sense whether you've been a follower of Christ for 20 years, 20 days or even if you're just looking for some answers to life's questions. We project all of our Scripture on PowerPoint so even if you don't have a Bible you won't be lost. Let me know after a service if you need one. We would love to give you a Bible to keep as our gift.
Will I be singled out in any way? You will not be singled out, asked to give money, or wear a visitor badge. We provide a relaxed environment where you can be yourself and focus on God in a non-threatening way.
Should I bring my kids? Only bring your kids if they like to have lots of fun! For more information about our exciting worship service for kids, click here.
What if I don't have any "church clothes"? When you come to Greenwood, dress casually. We work hard to create a friendly, comfortable evironment at Greenwood. We care more about people!
