The goal of every ministry at Greenwood is to move people into small groups where we can know and be known. They are the primary place for spiritual care and life change at Greenwood.
Why Small Groups are important at Greenwood:
1. We believe that without small groups, people may attend meetings, but they are not truly connected within the body of the church.
2. We believe that the most effective life-change environment is a grace-oriented community, known as small group where God’s Word is applied in the context of close personal relationships.
Therefore:
In every ministry at Greenwood, small group involvement is the key strategy for spiritual growth and the primary means of caring for people.

• And bear one another’s burdens
• Under the leadership of an individual(s)

What happens when a group meets?
Small groups meet at the church and in homes around Weatherford area at different times and days during the week. Groups consist of six to twelve individuals or four to six couples that meet for 1 to 2 hours. Though groups vary, group time will usually include fellowship and connecting, Bible study, discussion of practical real life applications, and prayer. It is a safe environment to ask questions or talk about a struggle.
